DJ Mag's 2026 Top 100 DJs results place Shimza at No. 75, a first entry for the South African producer and DJ.
His internationally visible year included the Shimza & Co residency at Pacha Ibiza. Official Pacha listings show the series running from 30 April to 18 June, with visiting artists from across electronic music.
Public voting is one measure of visibility, rather than a complete measure of artistry. Still, Shimza's result adds to the discussion around African electronic music on international stages.
