Zimbabwe’s Afro-house community is preparing a collective statement. Inner Visions, a multi-artist compilation curated by Zimbabwean DJ and producer Dr Feel, is expected to arrive in November 2026 on South African house label Mansa Musa Records.
The announced contributors span different generations and perspectives: Nitefreak, DJ Stavo, Dr Chaii, Ryan Synth, MIčI, Reverb, TAPIWA, Simbai, Tashinga, Shona (SA), PA NGU, Afro Wav, Takue SBT, Josh Major, Daphfinee and Taarof Adder. It is the scale of that collaboration, rather than a single star, that makes the record worth watching.
For Zimbabwe, the project is also a statement about visibility. A country with established producers and a growing network of emerging artists has the opportunity to introduce its electronic music scene to new listeners through a shared release.
Dr Feel has described the compilation as a way of expressing Zimbabwean musical identity to audiences beyond its borders. Track details and the final release date should follow through the label’s official announcements. DOGON will follow the rollout.
